Welcome to EDCI 271!
This blog contains all the information you need to successfully complete EDCI 271: Classroom Applications of Educational Technology. This will be a hybrid course which means part of the time we will meet face to face, and the rest of the time we will meet in hyperspace! This will help you understand how technology can be used to teach and learn. You will be able to discuss more knowledgably about the pros and cons of distance education after having this experience.

It was very intersting and it will captivate younger audiences.
My favorite website was the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for kids website. The URL for this site is www.dsokids.com/2001/rooms/DSO_Intro.html

What a difficult question to answer! Two educational sites pop into my mind; one offers information on books, and the other is for health and the body. However, my personal favorite would have to be http://www.kidshealth.org/
I thought it was a wonderful way a child could get the answers to every bodily question a child needs answers to, and even about his emotions.
I got so excited when I found this web site it is awesome!!! Go to

This website is really cool, it serves as a directory for other student approved websites such as funbrain, neopets, and one website where students can create their own puzzles!
